FAQ
When should I schedule my senior photos?
I recommend booking as early as possible, especially if you would like a fall or spring session. These are the most popular times of the year and weekend availability can fill quickly. Your session can take place at any point during your senior year.
Will you help me choose my outfits?
Absolutely! Styling plays a major role in creating the overall look and feeling of your senior portraits. I can help you choose colors, textures, accessories and outfit combinations that photograph beautifully and complement your chosen location.
How do we choose a location?
We will select a location based on your personality, style and the overall look you want for your photos. Options may include natural fields, wooded areas, downtown locations, school campuses or other meaningful places. I also have several hidden locations around The Villages and Central Florida that photograph beautifully.
Can we visit more than one location?
The Signature Silver Senior Session includes one location. Additional locations or a customized extended senior experience may be available depending on the amount of time needed and the type of session you are hoping to create.
Can I include my car, sport, instrument or hobby?
Yes! Your senior portraits should represent who you are during this season of your life. You are welcome to include your vehicle, sports equipment, musical instrument, uniform, books, college gear or anything else that feels meaningful to you.
Can my parents or family come with me?
Yes! Parents or family members are welcome to attend and support you during your session. We may also be able to capture a few photographs with your immediate family as time allows. However, the main focus of the session will remain on the senior.
What happens if it rains?
Florida weather can be unpredictable! I will monitor the forecast leading up to your session. If the weather makes it impossible to photograph safely or achieve the look we planned, we will work together to choose a new date.
Cloudy weather does not automatically mean that the session needs to be rescheduled, as overcast skies can create beautiful and flattering light.
What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?
You do not need any modeling experience! I will guide you through posing, movement and natural prompts throughout the entire session. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, confident and like yourself rather than overly posed.
How many photographs will I receive?
The Signature Senior Session includes at least 75 fully edited, high-resolution digital images. Your final photographs will include a mixture of posed portraits, candid moments, close-ups, full-body images and detail shots.
Do you photograph both girls and guys?
Absolutely! Every senior session is customized around the individual senior’s personality, interests and style. Sessions can be natural, sporty, urban, rustic, classic, fashion-focused or completely unique to you.
What is the Senior Rep Team?
The Rosenthal Photography Senior Rep Team is an exclusive experience for selected seniors who want more photographs and creative experiences throughout their senior year. The program includes individual portraits, styled group sessions, milestone photographs and opportunities to connect with other local seniors.
Senior Rep Team availability is limited and requires a separate application.
Do you offer cap-and-gown photos?
Yes! Cap-and-gown photographs can be included during your senior session if you already have your graduation attire. A separate cap-and-gown session may also be scheduled closer to graduation.
